QUECHUA LANGUAGE COURSE

Llama Education invites you to be part of this unique course in the original language of the Incas, "Runasimi" or Quechua. With just a couple of hours, students will receive an insight into how rich traditional Peruvian cultures and languages are.

People in Cusco, specifically in the countryside, will greatly appreciate an "Allillanchu" (Good morning, how are you); it will immediately open doors for you.

Quechua is not an easy language and an intermediate level of Spanish is required. However, the course is completely communication-oriented and in a short period of time students will be able to speak and understand slowly-spoken sentences.

This course is directed at people who want to know more about Peruvian culture and Andean costumes or that are interested in living and interacting with people of the Andes for example Chivay, Colca, Cusco, etc.

This course consists of ten hours per week (two hours daily) of private classes and 30 minutes of chatting with a native. Our teacher speaks English and French and the course can start any day of the week. The price for it is US $190 per person.

MYSTICAL ANDEAN SPANISH COURSE IN AREQUIPA - CUSCO

Llama Education offers a mystic program for discover the mysteries of ancient Peruvians, who lived in Arequipa and Cusco, combined with Spanish lessons. The student will experience the uses of medicinal plants, meditation, old land payments, myths and legends.

This course combines Spanish classes and mystical traditions of Peru. Students will learn how to respect nature and how it was considered for the Empire of Incas. It is the perfect combination for those who love non-traditional western medicine and mystical aspects of live.

This course takes place in Cusco and Arequipa where the student will learn about the medicinal plants and mystical traditions mixed with Spanish grammar.

In Arequipa where you will visit the typical district of Huaranguillo called "the city of witches" where the students will learn about some traditional ceremonies. The student can choose to travel to Colca Canyon where the student can live the experience of an old Incan ritual.

In Cusco the student will learn about the medicinal plant course and Spanish Grammar at Huasao, which is a small typical village south of Cusco, where the students will learn about Andean rituals and ceremonies.

Price: US $250 per person for two hours of Spanish lessons and 2+ hours of mystical classes that include visits, studying, interacting with mystic people and mystical demonstrations.

Our course begins every Monday. The student will be introduced to the family he or she will be staying with until Sunday and will spend the entire week living with them. Tai Chi course and meditation in the landscapes of the Incas and "campiñas" are included for free.

SPANISH FOR KIDS (7 – 12)

Why not let your kids get an early start on a foreign language? Learning while you are in a country where you can practice the language is the best way to learn, and it's no different for your children.

This is an especially designed kid's class with plenty of fun activities to break up the learning. Songs, coloring-in, painting, dance, music and videos are designed to entertain and educate.

Kids read using Spanish children's books and you will be surprised at the ability of your children to pick up this language quickly.

Our teachers are Peruvian specialized in elementary school and have experience in teaching to kids, the classrooms are designed to give a good environment. Price: US $100 for five days of 20 (two theoretical and two practical hours) which includes classes and materials for practice. Maximum of five students per class.

SPANISH FOR TEENS (13-17)

The teenage years are an exciting, confusing and challenging time for young people. No longer little kids, they aren’t adults yet and need specialized classes which recognize that they bore quickly with structured classes and yet they don’t want to be treated like little children!

There are plenty of challenging activities for teens in these classes, as well as a number of excursions where they have opportunities to practice Spanish. If possible, they will also have the opportunity to meet young Peruvian people of a similar age.

These courses have fixed start dates which coincide with the European and US summer school vacations. Parents have the option to take Spanish classes at a corresponding time to their children. These courses are available for all levels of Spanish.
